Dario, one of our Myotherapists, shows you a simple stretches that can be used to relieve and prevent neck pain. This stretch is easy to do, requires no equipment, and can be done in an office environment.
Step 1 – Bring the Chin down towards the armpit.
Step 2 – With the hand of the arm you are facing, grasp the back of your skull.
Step 3 – Hold for 30-45 seconds.
Step 4 – Repeat on opposite side
Tips for a better stretch
Make sure your shoulders are square, and are not dipping up or down.
To stabilize and increase the range of the stretch, try placing the opposite hand to the one you are stretching with behind your back.
